Introduction To Overcoming Anxiety When I Wake Up
I used to think that anxiety when I wake up was just my body getting ready for the rigours of the coming day.
You know, just before your eyes open you start to feel that fluttering in your chest, and a quickening of your pulses.
But I was wrong, it doesn’t have to be like that even if you are the worlds busiest person with lots going on all the time.
So do you wake up with anxiety in the mornings, or do you feel anxious when you start to worry about the day ahead?
I can assure you it can be a difficult way to start your day, and it doesn’t have to be.
There are some things you can try to help yourself overcome morning anxiety.
How I beat Anxiety When I Wake Up Fast?
So, how do you beat morning anxiety and get back to having a positive outlook on life?
The process of beating your morning anxiety is not easy, but it’s certainly possible.
If you have tried everything and still haven’t found an effective way to beat it, then let me share with you this simple method that has helped many people overcome their morning anxiety in as little as seven days.
First things first: You should understand why your morning anxiety keeps coming back.
Once we understand what causes our harmful emotions, it becomes easier for us to deal with them effectively so that they will not return again.
This means identifying the root cause of your feelings and dealing with it head on by writing down all the problems related to this issue before moving forward with other steps such as avoiding certain behaviors or thoughts that trigger these feelings when they arise again (e..g., getting out of bed early).
So, what can I do to stop anxiety When I Wake Up?
When you wake up with anxiety, the first thing you should do is take a deep breath and remind yourself that it’s okay.
You’re not going crazy or losing your mind because of what happened to you last night or yesterday, or even this morning.
Your body and mind are just doing their job by preparing for the day ahead and they don’t understand how much work it may be.
So, instead of freaking out about how busy your day will be (which will only cause more stress), try these things:
Don’t ignore it but thank your body for looking after you.
It is actually preparing you for the business of the day, heightening your emotions and feelings.
Its doing exactly what it should be doing, in the same way as you would expect it to do if a tiger came into your room during the night.
You wouldn’t just lay there thinking “oooh that’s a big cat” you would go into heightened self survival mode….its the same
This is important because if you ignore your feelings and push them away, then they’ll come back stronger than ever when something happens when it does come time for those feelings to surface…and trust me…it WILL happen eventually!
Sooner rather than later too if left unchecked!
- Wake up slowly. If you’re having trouble waking up, try to wake up a half an hour earlier and meditate or practice yoga. This will help get your body ready for the day and ease any anxiety that might be present in the morning.
- Drink a cup of coffee or tea. If this is something that helps, then by all means drink it! It may help to increase blood flow in the brain which can make it easier to deal with any stressors on your mind before they even have time to become problems!
- Try exercising in the morning before work; this will give your body a boost of energy while also releasing endorphins which will make things feel easier overall throughout the rest of your day too!
- Try undertaking the Wim Hof breathing methods that have worked wonders for thousands of people around the world,

If your anxiety persists or if it is interfering with your daily life, it might be time to talk to a therapist.
