Introduction To Hitting Rock Bottom
Hitting rock bottom doesn’t have to be the end of the road, and a never ending doom and gloom path to walk.
Everyone has their own definition of hitting rock bottom.
However it’s the moment where you start to realize that things can’t get any worse, so you get to make a change.
What an opportunity, if you look at it as total liberation of choices and actions…you can do whatever you want as you have nothing to lose.
Most people go through it at some point in life, but not everyone bounces back like they should.
In this article we want to show you a few things that will help you achieve the bounce back and then go onto great success in life.
What Actually Is Hitting Rock Bottom?
Hitting rock bottom is a place of deep despair and low self-esteem.
Rock bottom is when you feel like there’s no hope and no one to turn to.
It can be a feeling of isolation, where you don’t have anyone to help you get out of the situation that has brought on this feeling.
One of my friends when in their early 20s, hit rock bottom after going through a divorce – but not just any divorce, this was an emotionally and financially draining divorce that lasted over two years!
They felt like it would never end; it seemed as though every week there was another court date or some kind of financial obligation that needed their attention.
He remembers walking around my house in tears almost every day because he felt trapped by the situation and couldn’t see any way out besides continuing with the legal battle until it ended one way or another (which would take years!).
It came to an end and his new life started again.
That is what we mean by hitting rock bottom, it’s the point of rebirth when you get to start again in life.

When Life Knocks You Down Then Rest And Get Back Up
Most of us have been knocked down by life at some point.
It may be a breakup, the loss of a job or home, or another major event that has left you feeling hopelessly stuck in a downward spiral.
But remember: you can’t control what happens to you — only how you respond!
There are plenty of reasons why someone might feel like giving up when things go wrong: Maybe they don’t want to face reality; maybe they feel powerless; maybe they think it’s not worth it anymore.
But here’s the thing: There is no point in feeling sorry for yourself!
The past is gone and nothing can change it now. All we have is today and tomorrow (and hopefully many more days after that).
So if there’s anything we should do in this moment, it would be getting back up on our feet because there’s no reason not to keep going forward—we’ll just end up wasting time if we stay down here forever!
If You Find Life Kicking You Hard Then Remember
If you are at rock bottom, it’s not a permanent state.
It is just a bad time and place in your life that will eventually pass. You can get through this!
With some time and hard work, you will be better than ever before.
You might still be down from hitting rock bottom, but if you keep working at it, happiness will find its way back into your life. You can bounce back from this!
Get help from friends and family. When you’re at rock bottom, it can be hard to ask for help. But your friends and family are there for you when you need them most, so don’t be afraid to reach out if you feel like hitting rock bottom is getting the best of you.
Get help from a therapist or support group. When things get really bad, counselling might not be enough to get through your struggles; but attending a support group can give the extra boost that might do the trick! A therapist will also be able to offer more nuanced insight into whatever issue has brought on these feelings in the first place.
It's Hard But You Can Get Yourself Out Of This Hole
Hitting rock bottom is hard, but it can be a good thing. It takes time and effort to recover from hitting rock bottom.
While you’re going through this process, try to remember that the experience of hitting rock bottom is a positive one: it will help you change your life for the better in many ways.
You’ll learn so much about yourself, your life and how to live it well!
