Motivation Methods - Kick Start Your Day For Success

Introduction To The Power Of Motivation Methods
Motivation methods are brilliant if you build them into your daily start-up routine.
The thing is we talk about motivation a lot, but I think most of us don’t really understand it.
Partially that’s because there isn’t one type of motivation that works for everyone. You might be motivated by something that doesn’t work for me and vice versa.
However, there are some motivation methods that work for me and have become a staple of what we do at Join Up Dots.
Dont Stick To The Same Motivation Methods - Vary Them
Motivation is a very personal subject.
We all have our own reasons for wanting to succeed, and those reasons are often different from those of the people around us. You may have a team of people who have your back, but without a clear motivation in mind, you may find yourself falling behind when it comes time to reach your goals.
To avoid this problem—and to help ensure that everyone on your team has their own motivations—you should consider using different resources for motivation. These can include things like:
A goal-setting app like Coach Me Up or Momentum (for iOS devices), which provide step-by-step instructions on setting goals and sticking with them until they’re achieved;
Books like The Power Of Habit by Charles Duhigg (for Kindle), which look at how habits affect our lives;
Podcasts like of course the amazing Join Up Dots (available through iTunes), which offers daily business advice as well as interviews with successful individuals who share their insights into what makes them tick;
By incorporating these tools into your day-to-day life, you can keep yourself motivated while also inspiring others around you!

Building Motivation Starts With A Morning Ritual
Creating a morning ritual will help you feel more motivated every day.
A morning ritual is a series of actions you perform every day to set yourself up for success in the coming hours.
It can include anything from setting your alarm clock and getting out of bed, to drinking warm water with lemon and meditating for five minutes before breakfast.
The key to creating a morning routine that works for you is finding activities that make you feel calm and ready—rather than rushed or stressed out. You want to end up at work feeling energized, not like you’re running off fumes from the night before!
Here are some examples:
Wake up early enough that there’s time between waking up and going into work so that you can drink some hot tea while checking emails on your phone or tablet (or even just writing them out by hand). This way, even if there’s no time later in the day when it makes sense to do both tasks at once (like when trying not spend too much money), then at least there’ll be less chance of forgetting about something important during those first few moments after waking up when everything seems impossible
Have A Plan And Follow It To The Letter
Making a plan is important, but following it is even more important.
If you don’t have a plan, make one. If you do have a plan, follow it.
Don’t be afraid to change the plan if you need to and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you feel like something isn’t going right or isn’t working out as planned.
I am not a big believer in having a plan B in life, I prefer to move around on the plan A to make it happen for me.
Then at least I am still moving in the direction that I originally set for myself
Motivation Methods Have To Start Joining Up Dots
The next time you’re working on a project and feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work it will take, break down your goals into small pieces.
Don’t worry about the big picture—it’s overwhelming enough just to focus on one task at a time in order to accomplish anything and the dots always join up anyway.
Don’t worry about what other people are doing—or what they think you should be doing instead.
Worrying is not productive; it only makes things more difficult and less enjoyable.
And finally, don’t worry about what you think you should be doing: if there’s something else competing for your attention right now that sounds more exciting than whatever project is at hand, let go of the guilt associated with putting it off until later (if ever).
Change Your Thoughts And Feelings To Change Your Mood
Either way, you can use your thoughts to change your mood.
If you’re feeling down, try thinking about something that makes you happy or at least less sad.
Think about what happened in the past and how far you’ve come since then, or think about how good it feels to be able to do things like walking up stairs when before they were impossible.
Use the power of positive thinking! Or… if that doesn’t work, try to change your attitude by changing what happens next with positive self-talk: say aloud “I’m going to get through this!” or “This feeling will pass!”
If those don’t work for some reason (maybe there’s no one around who will hear them), try writing down some affirmations that are true but also encouraging: “I am strong; I am brave; I am beautiful; etcetera.”
If none of these strategies help because there’s still something more important than changing your mood—like getting out of bed—then at least take some time for yourself by doing whatever makes sense right now (meditate? Read a book?).
Motivation Methods Dont Have To Always Be Focused On You
One of the most powerful ways to motivate yourself is by helping others.
Helping people can make you feel good about yourself and give you a sense of purpose.
It can also make you feel connected to other people, less alone, less selfish and more whole.
When we help others we are connecting with our humanity in a way that is often difficult for us as humans living in our very narcissistic society where everyone wants to be the center of attention all the time!
But when we help other people then we get this sense that “I matter” because I am making someone else’s life better than it was before they met me!
This can be an incredible feeling if done on a regular basis over time so that it becomes part of your daily practice instead just something nice once in awhile which then creates an upward spiral effect where more good deeds lead even greater happiness within yourself which leads even more kindness towards others thus creating another upward spiral effect etc…
Conclusion To Motivation Methods
All of these steps are easy to do. They don’t require any money or special skills, and they can be done at home without much effort.
Don’t be hard on yourself. Don’t be hard on others. Don’t be hard on the world. Don’t be hard on the universe.
And most importantly, don’t be hard on the people you love or don’t love; they’re just doing their best and trying to figure out what’s going right and wrong in their lives too!
So everyone can use some kindness these days, especially if we want to keep our stress levels down while working toward our goals and dreams.
These are just a few of our motivation methods that have allowed to turn Join Up Dots into what it is today.
