In this bonus episode of Join Up Dots your host David Ralph considers the big question that Steve Jobs would ask himself everyday.
He shared with the world back in 2005, in his now legendary Stanford Commencement Address, the follow insight into his life.
“I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”
How many of us can say that we would always answer a “Yes” if we were to ask ourselves the same question?
Not many of us I bet.
But David believes there is a way to bridge that gap between the life we have and the life we want.
He believes that if we only plan, and detail what our perfect life would be then we would have a far clearer understanding of what we truly want to in life, and how we are to make that happen.
It doesn’t have to be a dramatic change, but could just be a series of small pivots.
A slight change in direction, pointing you towards the life of your dreams.
In this episode he gives us all the steps that we can take to gain this understanding of what needs to be done
Let’s see if any of you are willing to take on the exercise he offers and make big changes in your life?
